With Americans desperate to escape quarantine and social distancing protocols, golf’s traditional wide open spaces, fresh air, and small groups attracted more rookies and pushed more rounds through the nation’s courses.

Massillon Health Dept. wants to know if residents got vaccine elsewhere

MASSILLON  City Health Department officials are asking residents who have signed up for a COVID-19 vaccination but got the shot elsewhere to let officials know. 

Due to an increase in providers administering the vaccine, the agency is finding a number of residents on the waitlist or appointment schedule who no longer require the vaccination from the health department, said Bethany Perkowski, environmental health director and public information officer.

Officials are asking city residents to notify the agency so they can be removed from the health department’s list.

With Ivy League athletics canceled, Men’s Basketball’s Desrosiers and Schwieger look elsewhere

When the Ivy League Basketball tournament was canceled in March 2020, senior guard Ryan Schwieger and senior forward Jerome Desrosiers of the Men’s Basketball team were shocked.
